20 December 2020:
Please read this message from the Acting Chairman:
You will be aware from a notice, which was circulated in September 2020, that the Annual General Meeting, which is usually held in November each year, would be postponed until January or February 2021 owing to the Coronavirus restrictions. This was in the hope that the legal restrictions would have been lifted by this date and we could resume some sort of meetings normality.
If you indicate that you wish to attend the AGM 'on line', you will be sent an email link to join the meeting on the day of the event. You will be able to see the WWAA Chairman on your screen and hear what is said, The system will provide the opportunity for you to express your views in person or by email as the meeting progresses.
I am sure you will agree that this is not an ideal solution but it will provide an opportunity for the WWAA to meet its obligations as required by the constitutions.
Alastair Burnett, Acting Chairman
