POSTPONED UNTIL 24TH AUGUST - Grow your own campaign to reduce single-use plastic waste
To do our bit to reduce plastic waste and food miles, the WWAA is trying to encourage the general public to grow at least a few vegetables of their own. We have booked a stall at the Locks Heath Centre on Saturday 10th August. To demonstrate that growing your own is not restricted to the over 65’s we would like to ask for some help from some of you younger plot holders. If you could come along for an hour or so to talk about your own produce, your successes and failures, it would be much appreciated There is no doubt that growing your own food is more tasty and the health benefits associated with having an allotment are well documented. So, if you can help out on the day or want more information please call Martin on 07740268821 or e-mail This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
