2017 Annual General Meeting
The Annual General Meeting of the Western Wards Allotment Association will be held on Monday 20th November at St. Mary's Church Hall, Warsash, 109 Church Road, Warsash, starting at 7.30pm. All plotholders are welcome to attend. A copy of the Agenda will be available in due course.
Committee members who have agreed to stand for re-election are:

A new Secretary is required. Applications for this post must be nominated and seconded and submitted in writing to the Secretary* before 20 October 2017.
A new Site Manager for Sarisbury Green is required. Sarisbury members are invited to send written nominations, which must be seconded, to the Secretary before 1 November 2017.
Any other nominations, which should also be proposed and seconded, should be submitted in writing to the Secretary before 1 November 2017.
Suggested items for inclusion in the AGM agenda should be submitted in writing to the Secretary before 1 November. At the meeting items may br raised during AOB. These will be for discussion only.
* AGM Secretary's duties will be fulfilled by Gill Rock, 16 Queens Road, Warsash, Southampton, SO31 9JY

Allotment Competition 2016
Here is your chance to win a prize in The Hampshire Federation of Horticultural Societies' Allotment Competition 2016. The Competition, which will be assessed by Federation Judges, is open to all members of affiliated Societies and consists of two Sections:
Plots of less than 10 rods (300sq yards/250sq metres) and
Plots of 10 rods and over.
Challenge Cups are awarded annually to the Section Winners with Cash Prizes in Section 1: 1st - £20, 2nd - £15 and 3rd – £10 and Section 2: 1st - £30, 2nd - £20 and 3rd - £15.
Diplomas are awarded as follows: top 7% of the combined results – Diploma of Special Merit, next 15% - Diploma of Merit.
